Emilio Rueda started with BBVA (Compass Bank) in 2007 as VP of Business Development for the Hispanic Segment. Two years later he was promoted to SVP, Director of Business Development for the Hispanic Segment, where Rueda framed strategic initiatives for the Hispanic Market segment. In 2011, Rueda moved to a new role as SVP, Director of Productivity and Process in Engineering where he led the Production Office team that supported the development of a new real-time core banking platform. Rueda then became VP, Director of Client Experience Oversight & Reporting where he created and implemented the client experience production office strategies.
In 2016 Rueda became SVP, Director of Operations Administration & Automation Support, where he was responsible for creating and implementing operations production office strategies. Among his responsibilities were operations metrics, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and operations transformation including Change Management, Lean, Process Redesign, and Communications.
